Dungeons: Is Light of Deldrimor worth it?
I have been catching up on some of the Zquests, and I usually bring Light to find the secrets. Not much use other than that for my build (Me/A AP/COP spiker, H/H with Discord in one form or another).
So far, I think I have found, in the few dungeons I have bothered to bring it, maybe one obsidian shard, one saphhire, and a lockpick. Mostly just gold. Is it really worth it? I could bring Pain inverter or COP instead (I got rid of COP because Sin Support is more crucial to my build). If there is no point in really farming hidden treasures, I will just maximize my build and clear the dungeons. I hate them, due to their gimmicky spike mobs. Not a lot of fun for me to play. Not that I like mowing the mobs, but even some suspense would be nice, rather than attack, kill 1-2 dudes, wipe, res, repeat. Thanks for your input. |

With an AP caller + Discord, you shouldn't be wiping at all.
I personally think it's worth it, but I never ran a caller build, and can fit it in easily with my usual h/h setup. If you don't lack in cash, then don't bother with it. |

Its definately worth it if you are running with other people instead of just H/H (since then 8 people instead of one can open the thing, and only one person has to squeeze room onto their bar for it).

I ran Frostmaw's today, and running into a group of 8-10 chromatic drakes who spike the crap outta you will put a stop to most builds with a quickness. I think I may have dropped one of the spikers for a SF ele, planning on more beasties that I could do fire damge to. The only places that give me grief are dungeons and dinosaurs. everyplace else I am fine. I could probably tune my bars better; dungeons tend to be pretty specialized, and I think a generic build don't fare as well there. |

As for LoD - the chests are crappy, but on the other hand, if they made them giving more, it would be overfarm. You can get some profit if you do a lot of dungeons, especially in human teams, but i never bother getting LoD anyway. |

I find it useful even as a skill. Since I'm a war the 80 dmg (160 vs undead) as an extera dmg to all the foes surrounding me, and since I'm mostly the tank that's a lot of foes. + the dwarven ghosts actually help quite a bit both as diversions + little extra damage.
People are too focused on builds. I say while the skillset is half the battle, the other half is your own skills. Know how to place you H/H, how to target foes, how to tank, how to pull, and generally be prepared for your foes strengths and weaknesses. So far the only two dungeons I can't H/H HM alone are Vloxen Excavations and Duncan's, although I can do every boss in duncans except, well, Duncan :P I must admit that the discordway is powerful really, but even THAT you have to have a little knowledge of using or you're doomed. I always bring LoD in a dungeon, because I simply love getting gold that the greedy henchmen don't take most from me XD I hate getting dungeon maps though since... really who uses them? :P |

Depends on the heroes, if it's just you and heroes, Better skills IMO, but if you have 3 or more humans, throw it on someone

If you are doing lots of Dungeons, then LoD will pay off for you in the long run. Even when you get very little gold or crafting mats that you don't exactly need, it's still something. Also, as a Warrior, I agree with Sword Hammer Axe, LoD is a nice skill to have to offload a little bit of extra damage on my targets.
